This privacy policy will explain how Cool Company Ltd, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates ("CoolCo" or "we") uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website.

The pages on the website (“the Website”) are published by Investis Limited (“Investis”), a company registered in England and Wales with company registration number 03930926, whose registered address is at 24 Fashion Street, London E1 6PX, on behalf of Cool Company Limited, a company registered in Bermuda under company number 54129 and with its registered address at 2nd floor, S.E. Pearman Building, 9 Par-la-Ville Road, Hamilton HM11, Bermuda (“CoolCo”).

Investis and CoolCo respect your right to privacy and will process personal information you provide only in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679), Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and other applicable privacy laws.

What data do we collect?

CoolCo & Investis collect the following data:

  • When you visit the CooCo Website, Investis’ web server will collect some basic information such as your browser type, IP address, internet service provider’s domain name, which pages you accessed on the site, and when. Details of cookies that Investis uses on the Website can be found on the Cookie notice.

  • When you register for the Alerts Service CoolCo collects personal identification information (Name, email address, occupation and country of residence).

  • Investis will not collect any information about individuals, except where it is specifically and knowingly provided by them.

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide CoolCo and Investis with the data we collect. We collect and process data when you:

  • Register online to receive Alerts
  • Use or view our Website via your browser's cookies.

How will we use your data?

Your data is collected so that we can:

  • Process and correctly deliver the Alerts service if subscribed to.

  • Investis and/or CoolCo may transfer personal information that is collected from you to third-party data processors located in countries that are outside of the European Economic Area in connection with the above purposes. Please be aware that countries which are outside the European Economic Area may not offer the same level of data protection as the United Kingdom, although the collection, storage and use of your personal data will continue to be governed by this privacy policy.

  • Ascertain members of the investment community who may wish to learn more about the Company through direct engagement.

  • Neither Investis nor CoolCo will disclose, sell or rent your personal information to any third party unless you have consented to this. If you do consent but later change your mind, you may contact Investis or CoolCo (as appropriate) to ask for any such activity to stop.

  • However, if a third party acquires all (or substantially all) of Investis' or CoolCo’s business and/or assets, Investis or CoolCo (as applicable) may disclose your personal information to that third party in connection with the acquisition. Investis or CoolCo may also disclose your personal information where required to do so by applicable law, by a governmental body or by a law enforcement agency.

How do we store your data?

CoolCo securely stores your data within the EU at AWS-Ireland servers.

CoolCo will keep your data until you ask us to remove it. If subscribed to the Alerts Service there will be a message to remind you that the reason you are receiving the Alert is because you requested it, there will be a link to the page where you can unsubscribe if you wish. When the request for deletion or to unsubscribe is received alerts will stop within a 24hr period and all data will be deleted from the server after the retention period of 90 days.

What are your data protection rights?

CoolCo would like to make sure you are fully aware of all your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

  • The right to access - You have the right to request copies of your personal data from CoolCo . We may charge you a small fee for this service.

  • The right to rectification - You have the right to request that CoolCo correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request CoolCo completes information you believe is incomplete.

  • The right to erasure - You have the right to request that CoolCo erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that CoolCo restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to CoolCo processing your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to data portability - You have the right to request that CoolCo transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
